Your title is 'wounded soul'...
and it left me wondering if you think that Mycroft is a 'wounded soul'....
...is he, d'you think?
I think I called it that because this piece was a remedial one to remove the virtual necrotic tissue of my own 'wounded soul', and delete emotions entirely/nearly entirely, if at all possible...

And I do like to spite my brother...
What he said isn't necessarily untrue...I've given up caring for the person(s) I love, and most others too...I only care about you because you're too much like me for me to give up on.

It may not be an advantage, and it certainly does cause one a lot of pain, especially when the one being cared for puts themselves in danger...
Some people have suggested that Mycroft had said that out of care and concern for me.....
Oh please, if you insist that I give up on you (Which I am not doing, by the way), you should give up on me. We all know generally how this all will end.
